Trauma-informed care grounded in the mind–body connection
Holistic, Integrative Psychotherapy + EMDR
welcome
About Our Practice
We offer integrative therapy for teens, young adults, adults, couples, and families, with a focus on the mind–body connection and helping the nervous system feel more settled and supported. Services include individual, couples, and family therapy, as well as EMDR therapy, EMDR intensives, and adjunct EMDR. Sessions often blend EMDR with somatic and experiential work to support meaningful, lasting change—not just insight, but real shifts in how things feel day to day. EMDR consultation and supervision are also available for clinicians, including individual and group options.
When the right support is present, your whole system responds.
Clinical supervisor
Catherine Alvarado, LMFT
Hi! I hold space for people moving through anxiety, trauma, and the heaviness that settles in both mind and body. My style is gentle, collaborative, and rooted in a holistic, integrative approach that honors the whole person. I specialize in EMDR therapy and have extensive training in trauma-focused work.
I’m dedicated to attuned, thoughtful work with both clients and clinicians. I focus on helping patterns shift and clarity emerge in a supportive, grounded way. My hope is to offer care that feels warm, steady, and genuinely helpful.

Get matched with the right therapist for you.
Finding the right therapist is an important part of the process, and therapy tends to be most effective when there is a strong sense of fit and comfort. After reaching out, we’ll take time to learn more about what you’re looking for and connect you with a therapist whose background, training, and approach align with your needs.
From there, you’ll have the option of a free phone consultation. This call is a chance to ask questions, get a feel for the therapist’s style, and explore whether it feels like a good match—without any pressure or obligation. If it feels right, next steps can be discussed together at a pace that feels comfortable.
